Radio Problem..
I wish to pick your brains and get some advice.
Recently we have experienced the following problem in our 1973 aircraft.
COM1 a Narco Com 810 TSO has been continously tansmitting on guard 121.5 during flight. This was picked up quickly and COM1 switched off. Turning COM1 back on it continues to transmit on guard. We took the plane to our maintenance firm and on the way the problem fixed itself and we could not get it to occur when the engineer was present. Recently the fault has re-occured.
Has anyone heard about this problem, experienced similar.
