German AIP
Does anyone know whether details of German airfields are available online in the same way as the UK AIS (sometimes
) or French Olivia? I've found the DFS site, which lets you file flight plans and check notams, but it doesn't seem to have any free airfield information (though it will sell you a guide).

Check out http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadcm...index.php.html then register (which is free).
You will then have access to all the AIPs in Euroland.
Enjoy.

Unfortunately, the DFS puts only the IFR AIP on the EAD. Thus if you want VFR-only airports and VFR procedures at others, you need to look elsewhere, probably to the DFS's guide. www.airports.de is useful as is www.eddh.de

Thanks for the help, guys. The Pireps on eddh.de were especially useful.
Eurocontrol does seem to have some general aerodrome charts, though the one for EDHL looks as though it's just the paper copy scanned in.
Guess Jeppesen will have to do.
