Chiltern Park,nr Henley
I see from a well known mag that the runways have been extended to quite a generous length. Anyone been in spamcans recently and can comment on runway surfaces etc?

FYI it's probably closer to Reading than Henley (7 miles to Reading), and 4 from Wallingford.

flew there yeaterday [saturday] in t moth. Tried the old rway but hit the bump and bounced so g/round and landed on the the new r/way which is not really well differentriated from the rest of the greenery, appears mostly weeds but is well long and smooth enough though depends what you are used to. took off on the old r/way which is clearly marked [brown] and smooth but has undulations. Nice spot good open approaches, cheery residents and air conditioned office [which was nice]. Part of ean enjoyable days bimbling
