Duxford incident-Wednesday 2nd August
I watched what looked like a twin engined vintage taildragger carrying visitor passengers land in a crosswind on Wednesday am 2nd August. Unfortunately, a slight bounce then became a porpoise and then it appeared that this was followed by a prop strike judging by the debris that was flying about.
Anybody know what damage was caused to the aircraft? Fortunately, the passengers disembarked apparently without injury.
<<edit: Totally off topic, S - but what year was this? August 2nd this year was a Wednesday.>>
<< well yes, you may be right! but my post was in the wee hours and I am becoming elderly! Thanks for pointing this out I have made a suitable edit!>>

AerBabe, you are exactly right, it was a Dragon Rapide. I don't think it will be flying again in the near future though! It could be that the incident looked worse than it was mind!
