All good stuff.

But I wish the CAA also did something to drag the PPL syllabus into the 20th century.

Presently, most people with a realistic flying budget also have a modern lifestyle which is about 30 years on relative to what one has to suffer during PPL training, and I believe this is the ultimate factor underneath the year on year decline in PPL training activity.

If this carries on for much longer, all that will be left flying will be old farts like me.
