Where to land in Stockholm ?
I am looking for a good, friendly, and not too expensive airport for an overnight stay in the Stockholm region.
First we had planned a stay at Barkarby but I saw this is not an officially recognized airfield. So now I'm thinking more about Bromma.
Any locals or people who have been there that can advice ?
Björn

Barkarby is free of charge, if you stay there just a couple of nights. Beware that occasionally the runway is closed and used for drag racing or other motor sports. Not sure if this is published in Notams.
The local flying club have Avgas 91UL and 100LL for sale.
There is a home page in Swedish with some maps of the airfield.

But on the other hand you need to order a taxi from Barkarby to wherever you want to go. Quite far and expensive. From Bromma you can take the bus for 20 SEK (app 2,20 Euro). I can check how much the landing and parking fee at Bromma would be on Monday...maybe it would be a better option anyway.

I think we'll take Bromma if you could check the fares that would be great!
Also, in our home base (Oostende) there is a shortage of AVGAS 100LL for the moment, is there any talk of that in Sweden ? There was a NOTAM posted last Friday for EBOS that visiting aircraft can only take 25L per aircraft due to the shortage !
Thanks for the help,
Björn
