where I could possibly rent a cheap twin (preferably a Seneca)? Need to get a few hours.

When I was searching around (over a year ago now), Weald Air Services at Headcorn was the cheapest at just over £200/hour for a Seneca 1 I think. There is a chappy on Jersey who privately rents one out much cheaper but you have to get to Jersey.
