Air Law: low flying rules.Help!

I am preparing myself to exam and have a problem. In the book from J.Pratt PPL2 Air Law on page law16 i see Minimum Separation 500ft away from person, 1500ft higw and 600ft away in city and 1000m over open air with lot of people area. In book Q&A Simplifier from also AFA, there is 500ft/1000ft(instead of 1500ft) with 600ft, but most worse is 1000ft instead of 1000m over open air with lot of people area.
so what is actually right:

1000ft or 1500ft over city?

1000ft or 1000m over open air with lot of people?

The confusion is because the rules changed recently.

Up to date info can be found in the Rules of the Air Regulations in CAP393 Rule 5 is the one you want.
