Pitts S1 Project

I am looking to buy a Pitts S1 project after being severely bitten by the aerobatics bug. If anyone knows of any reasonably priced projects that may be for sale, please let me know. Also, any advice from recent Pitts builders gratefully recieved.
Cheers,
MAB

MAB

There are two recent Pitts builders in the UK and there are a couple of guys who can do nice rebuilds.

I've sent you a PM

MAB,

There are also some nice aircraft on the BAeA website.

http://www.aerobatics.org.uk/aircraft+eqpt-for-sale.htm

Or look in the US but be aware that it can be complicated to import a US homebuilt.

under aircraft for sale

Good luck

Cheers ZA, have seen the aircraft for sale on the aeros website and also on barnstormers. I am really after a project, to keep the short term costs down as I am training towards CPL IR which is zapping lots of cash at the moment!
Should be finished around October, so cashflow should improve, giving me more options if nothing comes up between now and then.
Enjoyed Elvington by the way, despite the cold, the aeros were hot

Didn't see you at Elvington but glad you enjoyed it, did you fly in?

Have you thought about a wanted ad in the PFA magazine. You have to be a member to receive it but I could send you an old copy if you want to take a look.

Flew in in the old C150. Had a great day, and enjoyed meeting some new faces, and drooling over some rather nice aeroplanes! Will be joining the PFA, so might chance an ad.
