Notam Question. I`d value your feedback

I`m not active as a PPL anymore so not really up to speed about day to day flight planning.

However I try to keep in touch and have been going through some recent AIS blurb and came across some changes to the way AIS info is presented.

eg...
Q) EGTT / QRDCA / IV / BO / W / 000 / 024 / 5238N00036W006
B) 05/09/01 06:30 UTC C) 05/09/01 17:30 NAVW (J3829/05)
E) DANGER AREA EG D215 ACTIVATED
F) SFC G) 2400FT AMSL

The reason I`m posting is to try and learn if there is any updated source where this information is available online in "pictorial" form

... ie a chart you could look at to get an overview of anything that might affect your flight as opposed to just working your way through the list.

Download NOTAMPLOT from the internet.

Read the instructions and be aware that not every NOTAM is plotted and you need to look through the list of unplotted NOTAMS.

Getting a Narrow route briefing from NATS is usually very manageable.

Thanks both...Interesting applications. I guessed someone would have it covered.

Just as an exercise I created a little utility for pulling the info off the Notams and plotting it into Microsofts MapPoint. Not designed as route specific... i.e. everything gets plotted... more of a UK Geographic overview than a serious Flight Planning tool.

I was just curious to know what was out there...
