Best value flying in Devon....?
Evening all.
I'm in the RAF and have just managed to get a PPL from them, much much cheaper than I could have privately. However this does leave me facing the conversion and currency issues!
I've trained on the Grob 115E (tutor) and am looking to convert on to something similar (PA28/C-170???). Any suggestions? Also I'm looking to fly somewhere in Devon, as my folks still live down there about 15 miles north of Exeter.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where the best value flying can be sought and the cheapest and most economical way for me to convert onto type is? Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
DF

They have a decent club there with a mixed fleet, and contacts with the Devon PFA strut
