Brooklands fly in

I seem to remember years ago that you could fly into Brooklands once or twice a year. Is that still the case? Thanks IMC

Very sorry to report that this is definitely not possible as the central area of Brooklands is still very much a building site and the promised grass airstrip is some way off being finalised and created.

Went past on the train the other day and can say definitely the hard runway is no longer there (regretfully). Go to Tesco though and you have to pass through some of the old banking (from the Addlestone direction)
