Papa Stour - field details?

Can someone please provide details on the field at Papa Stour. Nothing in Pooleys.

Merry Christmas, The Wombat.

PS - wife kicked ME out of bed this morning at 6.30am to go get the bird from the butchers so "we" would miss the rush. Did not seem very merry then - can only get better!

You should have done what we did; we bought ours a month ago and bunged it in the freezer! I saw queues at our local bespoke butchers yesterday at about 3pm, so I know what you're saying!

Papa Stour: if no joy from these pages, try contacting Loganair at Glasgow Apt, or try ATC at Sumburgh(or Loganair there if they still operate from there).

From when I worked for Loganair:

Papa Stour, Shetland:

TORA/TODA/LDA/EDA: 538m
Width: 18 m
Surface: Gravel
Slope: 2% Dn to S.

Notes:

Obstacles: Hill on short final Rwy36.
Rising ground to N with a power line along the ridge.

Surface: Graded gravel. Becomes soft & muddy in prolonged wet weather, particularly Rwy 18 TSHLD

Caution:
Turbulence over cliffs on final Rwy 36
Sheep may be present. Airstrip unfenced from common grazing ground.

I can send you some pictures if you let me know your email address.
