What will you buy your aeroplane for Christmas?

Well, we've had the 'what aeroplane do you want for Xmas' and the 'whats on your Xmas list' threads, so for a change - what are you going to buy for your aeroplane this Xmas.

May I suggest - for those aircraft that live outside - a cover.

I'm thinking about one of those Lowrance Airmap 500s. Seems pretty good value for money.

A blow job.

No, seriously - that used to mean a respray. Whereas nowadays.........

Took one of my PA28s over to Mick Allen's today; it will be getting the usual top notch treatment and I'll be collecting it some time early next year.

Hi Ken,
Still trying to find that intercom problem, sometimes it's there, others not. She's off for her annual in the morning, so hopefully we can get to the bottom of it then.

I've thought of another Christmas present I'd like to buy for one of the a/c. An IO540 for the tomohawk, we may get some climb performance then!

Some fishing line, so I can suspend it from the ceiling in my flat, and a tiny paintbrush, to paint in the features on the model pilot.

A print of a painting of it - at the apex of a wing-over against white cumulus in a blue summer sky.

The aeroplane will never see the painting, but I will, and every time I look at it it'll remind me of good times we've had together and inspire me with longing for good times yet to come.
