Birmingham still open to GA?

Yes, I know I could ring them, but does anyone know if they still handle GA at Brum (EGBB) ?

According to Pooleys 2006 they do with landing fee at £11.21 per tonne or part + VAT - but be careful - it also says handling mandatory for all GA aircraft - and this can often be more than the landing fee. Some airports also have a host of other charges, such as departure fees, security fees, etc. Best bet is call one of their handling agencies, such as Signature, on 0121 782 1999

Hope this helps!

Also, no AVGAS is avialable at Brum (which has caught a few people out causing in diversions to Coventry, Wellesbourne or Halfpenny Green to uplift fuel)

I believe Signature is the only handling agent now for GA at Brum

Went to Birmingham a few weeks ago. Handling was dealt with by Signature who were very helpful. Landing fee and handling came to about 60 quid for a PA32.

As mentioned in a previous post no avgas.

If you are going to the NEC they should run you there and collect you, saves the taxi fare each way.
