Hucknall - Directions by road
I will more than likely be needing to pick up a pax from here this coming weekend. I've no problem finding the 'field from the air - however driving around the area I have never found it when travelling via the road.
Does anyone local have some idiot proof directions which I can forward onto the said person to direct them from the M1.

At weekends do not go to the Rolls Royce factory side of the airfield you have to go to the Merlin Flying Club which is on the south side. From the M1 junc 26, take the A610 for Nottingahm and at the next roundabout take the A6002 towards Bulwell. At the second mini roundabout, by Batley's cash and carry, turn left and sharp left again on to Blenheim Lane. Follow this lane up for a couple of hundred yards and the airfield (club) entrance is on your right. You may have to push the gate open but close it after you. The winddsock and control tower are just inside the gate.
