Met office site down?

Can't get through to secure.metoffice.com - is it just me? It's been down for at least 15 minutes as far as I can tell.

Thanks all - working now 1640 local!

I wanted to know if it had stopped raining yet in Gloucester so I could assess how fast the front was moving. In the end I decided it was not moving fast enough to clear here (Oxford) so I'm going tomorrow instead.

It's only just cleared here...

I can imagine the scene in the forecasting office:

"Hey, Bert! These next few hours are going to be really tricky to get right - the weather's all over the place! The government targets for accuracy are going to be impossible to meet this morning!"

"No problem mate, just turn the website off! We'll go down the pub and fill the forecasts in later, after the front's gone through"
