C172 vs TB-9
I'd like to have some info regarding those 2 aircraft.
Pros and cons. Especially operation cost.
It looks like the Cessna would be less expensive to operate than the Socata and faster. Would be used for weekends trips. Approx 80 hours a year. What do you think ?

TBs are nice and comfy. Next to the Rockwell line they must have the widest cabin in the industry - very comfy indeed.
The 9 is a bit underpowered, and performance on short runways and grass isn't the best at MAUW.
Pros for the 172 would be - there are tons of them and every mechanic on the planet knows how to fix one...

TB9 is very roomy as stated.
But if I was purchasing a TB I wouldn't even look at the 9. It is underpowered and need's a bit of the black stuff to get up. Cruise is a modest 95 - 100knots ( If you love flying you won't be in a rush ).
