More stupidity from EASA

The latest bit of burocratic stupidity from EASA is not recognising the FAA form 8130 for overhauled parts.

At the moment you can fit a new TCM engine in an EASA aircraft but you cant fit a TCM factory overhauled unit as TCM don't have EASA overhaul approval !.

I just use TCM as an example but this is the case for a number of companys i the USA.

This only currently applies to aircraft used for comercial air transport and is no different from the old rules.
