stickers on tbms?

what are the yellow tiny arrow stickers on tbm's and GT200s stuck on the fueslage for? I was asked this question today and i hadnt a clue so go for it brainaics!

They are to do with checking the alignment of various parts of the aircraft i.e. they enable ground equipment to look at where particular parts of the aircraft are in order to compare them with where they should be.
