Some advice on piloting

I found a flight school near me http://www.windsorflyingclub.com/training.htm .

Now I just wanted to know if it was a good deal or not. It's hard (very hard) convincing my parents to let me go, one big reason is because it's so expensive.

Are there any alternatives to this or is it the best way to go?

Thanks....

Where do you live? Nowhere is going to be cheap, but in the end you get a CPL and maybe a diploma. Nobody in Canada really cares from where these days so I wouldn't get too picky. CMA used to hire guys by the dozen from Selkirk, now they hire whoever, and I heard Selkirk is thinking about shutting their av program down.
