Where is the best place to do my PPL?

Hi guys,
I think that you may have heard this question 1000's of times, but I am in a fairly unique situation.

I am Australian, living in Germany. My other half has just found out that she is pregnant, so we are probably going to go back to Australia soon.

I have just resigned from my job, and they are paying me until the end of the year and I do not have to work. So I have a bit of cash and a bit of time to play with. I have a house in the UK, so going there to do it is no problem, but it would be good for the missus at the same time to have a holiday somewhere nice as well. (not saying that the UK is not nice, but she has been stuck there for 6 months and she says it is time to move on.)

I would like to get my PPL in an intensive course, (i.e. all in one go)
So a few questions:

1/ Can someone recommend a good, reputable school?

2/ What will I need to do to be able to fly in Australia?

3/ If it is the US, how long does the visa take to get?

Any other information that you think might be useful would be great.

Try this

http://flyeft.com/fasttrack/

I got my PPL with them 6 weeks ago in exactly 21 days!

Second to none instruction...nice planes...fantastic airfield.

PM me if you have any further questions.
