Convenient cub strip for East Mids Conference Centre, Nottingham
Hello all,
I have to go to a conference here on Sat June 11th. Any suggestions for a good nearby cub strip, farm or otherwise? I don't like acres of tarmac, high fees and yellow jackets.
Cheers,
QDM

Nottingham (Tollerton) is tarmac (though the grass triangle in the middle of the field is useable), but doesn't have the high fees or the requirements for yellow jackets Probably your best bet.
Hucknall would be your next option (Rolls Royce flying club) but the taxi ride is about twice the distance to the EMCC

Nottingham is the easy option for the location. Several microlight strips in the area but the taxi will never find them .....

Thanks, both. Will look into Tollerton. I guess I'll need fuel for the way back anyway, so a real airport ain't such a bad idea. How far is the taxi ride from there?
