Headsets
Hi Everyone,
I need to buy a new headset as mine has 'gone tech'. I was just wondering what the headset of choice was for most people!
Also if anyone has brought a headset from the states and had it shipped over.... does it work out any cheaper??
Thanks in advance!

If your looking for something for " cheap"ish money try the Telex Echelon, It's a good headset for handy money, It's comfortable, reduce's a lot of noise and look's nice.
For £125.00 from Transair you can't go wrong
The Pilot 17-79 from Transair is also a nice headset but at £325.00 from Transair it's a bit on the pricy side( but if you want to go into space it's approved for space flight )
If you want to be like everyone else the David Clark H10-13.4 is a good reliable headset but to be honest i prefer the Echelon to these. £239.95 from Transair
Then there's the Bose X, haven't tried this headset but from what i hear it's a good headset, but for the price no thanks.

If you don't like having your brain squeezed, or getting headset hair (not my problem any more), try Clarity Aloft. I bought mine from Adams Aviation in the UK, but you can buy them direct. You'll probably get charged VAT, so there's not much difference in the price.

There can be only one....... BOSE-X
Dont wast your time on anything else. Expensive but worth every penny and will last a lifetime.
Incredibly light fantastic ANR, 50hr battery life.
I have lent mine to people and had to pry them from there cold dead hands to get them back.
