Miami Center Radar

While doing a solo flight today....the NOTAM said that Miami center's radar was not working.......what is the immediate procedure when that happens?

They should have preferred and supplementary radar coverage - if not then the "Safest ATC system in the world" claim is rubbish!

Enroute centers utilize various radar sites (MOSIAC) so a single radar site outage normally only affects a small area below a certain altitude (normally below 10,000). Traffic that is operating below the effective radar coverage is worked via non radar procedures.
