Waterbeach - nr Cambridge

I have a meeting to attend about 300 yards from the disused airfield at Waterbeach, just outside Cambridge. It's shown on the 1:250000 as a Heliport, but does anyone know if any of the runway remains useable for fixed wing? Only need about 400m!!

I don't think so. Cambridge airport is pretty conveniently situated for that area though.

Waterbeach is MOD Army, having surveyed there recently the runway that is left and appears intact is totally unservicable for aircraft - do not bother.
