Forced landing onto Hampstead Norris airfield at Compton, all occupants and aircraft unharmed. Aircraft was en-route Bembridge-Cranfield.

What time did this occur? There were quite a few of us at Bembridge yesterday flying back to the just-south-of-CPT area. Do you know what the plane was? (reg?)

I know that this was out of cranfield and I even know the school with it being mine.

But rather than start the rumour mill and the usual hangar crash investigations I will keep quiet, suffice to say the person involved is very experienced the plane had an electrical problem with smoke in the cockpit.

All were ok.
