elstree - a/c share

Looking for a share or good hire rates for a twin or good single (airways equiped preferable) out of Elstree - any suggestions?

Have you tried looking on www.afors.co.uk or www.thehangar.co.uk that's where I'd start, followed by the notice boards at the resident clubs / schools / eateries.

A very good friend of mine has a 49.5% share of a regularly-flown (but not ex-flying school!) Canadian-built 1977 C172 in Elstree for sale at £15k - his name is JP Lodge, his number is 0208 450 8523.

I don't know if you know Duncan at Elstree, but he has a very nice Aztec that rents at a reasonable rate.

PM me if you want more info as I will have to do some rooting about to find his contact details. He used to have a nice Arrow there too, but due to some rather unfortunate circumstances and some other idiots on the A/D he had to knock that one on the head...

You might like to make enquiries about Mooney M.20 G-JAST which has arrived at EGTR in recent months.

There is a (very nice) C310Q at Elstree just coming back on line after a gear up landing at Elstree with (consequently!) new everything. N reg I believe and I understand there may be a 1/5th share available. PM me if interested as I know one of the owners.

Was that the one that landed with the nosegear retracted?
