PA24-250 W&B Calculator
Hello there,
I am on the 'scrounge' - does anyone have a W&B calculator for a PA24-250 Comanche?
Also I am interested to know what the 'Lever Arm' is for the Basic Empty Weight on the Comanche, just so I can make a comaprison with my aircraft.
many thanks
Tidders

I can't rememebr if it was the 250 or 260 we used to fly but here are the figures for our aircraft (c/n 24-1094)
-----------Weight------Arm------Moment
APS-------1784--------83.8-----149464
Oil----------22.5-------28.0--------630
Row 1------xxxx--------84.4------xxxxx
Row 2------xxxx-------118.5------xxxxx
Fuel--------xxxx-------90.0-------xxxxx
I still have the Owner Handbook and the Weight and Balance schedule but not the weight calculator (can't recall seeing one either).

My pleasure.
I only enjoyed a very brief association with the aircraft but found it a delight to fly. The aircraft was G-APUZ formerly owned by young Winston Churchill MP - and I believe flown round Africa by him.
My only worry was the landing gear as a few PA24's seemed to suffer from partial retraction problems. Needless to say it never let us down. No pun intended.
