Delta Jets On The Up

With the new year approaching, yet another superb Hunter T7, in Blue Diamond colour scheme, rolls out of the Deltajets stable at Kemble.

5 years in restoration, all the pain-staking work has been carried out by an elite team of dedicated voluteers.

Check out the website: www.delatjets.co.uk

If you want to help in the restoration and preservation of these magnificent flying machines, get in touch with Don or Alan on 01285 771494. No experience necessary - all relevant training will be given and you can rest assured of a friendly welcome and a decent cup of tea!

Actually I think it's http://www.deltajets.com/

I don't have the time for things like restoration work, but if you ever need a design or B-conditions signatory for a few days give me a shout, I wouldn't mind getting handling a fast jet certification task again for the practice.

But have you read John Farleys comments about the Hunter in Av History and Nostalgia, Farnborough recollections.

Sounds like you shouldn't expect to use it for its design purpose (of shooting down the enemy), but for boring holes in the sky it gets a thumbs up!

Enjoy all who get a chance to play.
