Request: YAK52 conversion
I'm starting a yak conversion early next year. If any instructors are listening please let me know. I'll be based at North Weald. Thanks.

hi Mak
If you wish the best, most knowledgeable YAK instructor in the uk use Gennady Elfimov. at www.skytrace.co.uk
I and many other YAK pilots have been trained the the best. If you are not serious there are others.

If you go to Yak-52.com, you will find information on training, including an article entitled "Flying a Yak-52".
This thread is about flying a Yak-55M, not a 52; but perhaps it may be of some interest. Perhaps it will persuade you to skip the 52 and try the Yak-54 on for size!

I would think there is enough 'new' systems to learn in a -52, and the insurance man would probably be happier as well.
