Windsock at M1 J14

While driving to work the other day I spotted a windsock (or maybe I dreamt it, it was early morning) next to the southbound carriageway of the M1 just north of J14, Milton Keynes.

Anyone know if there's a strip there?

There's a little strip called Cranfield nearby.

You can't see Cranfield airfield from the motorway, Fly Stim.

I've seen a cub on the ground near j14, and I think a heli lives in another field.

On one of the country roads leading to cranfield there is a barn with a windsock on, i think that is visible from the motorway. I believe the owner of the barn does have a helicopter but i may be wrong
