Jodel D112s

Hi,

I'm looking at buying one of these and before I do anything else, task 1 is to gather as much info from you as I can, so has anyone flown one? Does anyone here operate one? Is there anything I ought to check percuiliar to these types? What sort of performance should I expect from one?

thanks M-G-L

Hopefully you'll get some info here, but if not look at jodel.com and the Yahoo Jodel group.

Cool

It is worth paying a couple of grand more for a C90 powered Jodel.

We looked at a D112, before ending up with a C90-powered Falconar (almost a Jodel ) for the same money. I think it was definitely the right choice.

Regard it as a Citroen 2CV. Basic, very efficient, as fast as a C150 but more economical. Fly backwards on a windy day (flies slowly as well as fast). The C90 is better than the smaller engine. Relatively easy taildragger to land. Great machine.
