Out of the loop for 2 years

Hello All,

I have been out of the loop for 2 years due to me being in Saudi. Hence zero flying and everything has lapsed.

Getting my medical back is my first priority - which I think will be straight forward enough (Class 1 was valid until 01/12/02)

But what are the requirements now for my PPL - The validity date of the lase SE Piston entry is 20/08/2003

I will tackle the renewals of Night, IMC and Multi after the above.

I think having some refresher lessons would be the right thing and probably necessary.

Anyway - I'm glad to be back in the land of (almost) free flying!

Any help appreciated.

GV,

As far as I know, since your rating has expired by less than 5 years, all you need to do is take a Skills Test with an examiner (basically a PPL Skills Test but without the navigation section), preceded by whatever training you and your instructor decide is necessary.

For the definitive answer, though, check out LASORS .
