Lightbulb JAA PPL in the US

Anyone done their JAA PPL in the US?

I've recently completed a trial lesson in the UK and am hooked. I am seriously considering doing my PPL in the US for obvious reasons. However, there are a bout 7 or 8 major schools offering this license with things like guaranteed passes, 21 day courses, incl./excl accomodation and stuff.

I would appreciate if any of you who have done this could recommend any schools, or indeed warn me of any bad experiences?!

Thanks for your help !

Chris
