Continental O-300 Wanted

Hi folks,

the old O-300 of our flying club's 1952 Cessna C-170B has finally been taken out of service and we are desperately looking for a replacement now. We either need a whole new engine or 6 cylinders to replace the old ones and are looking for decent offers around the world now.

If you should have any ideas on who to approach in the UK (London area preferred) or even have a O-300 lying around in your hangar right now, I would be very pleased if you could inform me via PM or replies to this message.

Cheers

Give Brian Mills a ring on 01223 263951. (Mercury Aero Engines)

He is based near Cambridge and recently overhauled our C172 O300.

A lsit of required parts was given to us following strip down. These we sourced from USA suppliers. Costs were reasonable.
