Another GA loss
SEAL BEACH, Calif. - A small airplane crashed into two homes Wednesday, clipping the roof of one home before plowing into the other.
It was not immediately known how many people were on board or if anyone was in the two homes that caught fire.
Air traffic controllers lost contact with the single-engine plane just before it crashed, FAA (news - web sites) spokesman Donn Walker said. It had been flying from Torrance to Chino.
The residential area where the plane crashed is about 25 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
