FAA instructors in UK

Hi All,

I have an FAA PPL, and soon I'm due my BFR.
Can anyone recommend/give details of any instructors in the UK (Ideally South West) who can give this service?
(I already know of one, http://www.upliftaviation.com)

Thanks.

Hi Airprox12,

I believe you may find Private Flyings own 2Donkeys has an FAA CFII certificate... if you ask him nicely... (2Donkeys: Hope you don't mind me posting this!)

I'll have an FAA CFI/I rating(s) next year, so when your BFR is due in two years time... (Hmm, I like this canvasing for prospective BFRs idea!)

Edited to say welcome to PPRUNE! (I see this is your first post).

Best wishes,

Charlie Zulu.

Not sure if 2D's CFII is current - but he'll be around soon and will no doubt tell us.

But there are a few FAA signer-offers around in the UK, so it should not be a problem.

Cabair used to have an FAA instructor, based at Blackbushe. I flew with him back in 2001(?) to revalidate my FAA PPL and he may still be there.......

Mike is still around and also flies out of Fairoaks. I did my BFR and HP checkout with him there in January. I have his contact details if anybody wants to PM me.

There's another one in the west London area too just setting up for FAA work - web site here. John did my conversion training for the SR20 and 22 and is always good to fly with.
