EGJB - New terminal

EGJB-New terminal

The new terminal is open. Heard a rumour that private flights would be able to use the Tax Free shops in the departure lounge.

Can anyone verify this please?

I think that as the whole island is duty free Bucktrouts in the high street in St peter port would be cheaper.

Thumbs up

sharpshot - i too have been told that private flights can use the duty free shop in the new terminal.

i hope to go there next weekend to check - will let you know !!

Bucktrouts aren't that cheap actually, i think they are VAT free but NOT duty free

the alternative is to land at EGJA - the airport shop will sell you genuinely duty free goods on production of a copy of you're flight plan

Thanks - I will look forward to hearing from you next Sunday night with a glowing report

I think you know the range of goods we are interested in!

And the current Avgas price of course.

By the way, I did photograph a certain wingletted a/c as it lifted off from its new homebase for the first time.

Cheers.
