GA in Belgium

Hi all,

It's looking increasingly likely that I'll be off to Brussels with work for a few years later this summer, so I'm wondering whether anyone has any suggestions or recommendations for flying clubs in the Brussel area?

I'm currently a couple of hours away from the JAR PPL skills test and intend to complete it here in the UK before relocating. Currently on PA28's, but quite like the idea of going tailwheel, so anywhere in Belgium that caters for a wannabe taildragger driver would be ideal...

Cheers,

BeauMan

I'm not a flyer but I'm a Brussels resident. The only GA airfield nearby is at Grimbergen, about 10km north of the city; their website is www.rvg.be.

If you want to fly taildraggers you'll have to go the Brasschaat AC, North of Antwerp, they have 3 PA-18-95
Other clubs renting PA18 are at Verviers & Spa but that's a bit far from Brussels

Grimbergen is the closest field to Brussels and has 2 clubs
VC Grimbergen : 4 C152, 1 C172 & 1 Archer
Sabena Aeroclub : 3 C152, 1 C172 & 1 Archer
