Cloud Break Assistance

Hello there,

Just wondering if anyone had any experience of a cloud break procedure when en route to land at an aerodrome visually.

I believe Edinburgh provide this service for flights landing at Cumbernauld. Is there usually a charge for this?

I have heard Farnbrough vector a French chap into Blackbushe, providing heading and altitude instructions and a missed approach procedure. From what I have heard they refuse requests to break cloud on their ILS for a landing at Blackbushe.

Thanks Guys

Chilli monster - I spoke to someone who mentioned that thread but I couldn't find it. Never thought of looking under ATC Issues.

Cheers!
