Private strip near Rugby/Dunchurch

Does anyone know of a private strip near to Rugby/Dunchurch?
I have some good friends near there and if I could land a little nearer than Coventry, that would be great.
Thanks,

Camb.

How much closer can you get?

Coventry is a 10 minute drive (at most) from Dunchurch. And for a reasonable landing fee you get a proper runway and landing aids. Or do you just prefer to rough it mate.

There's a short strip at swinford, just North of Rugby, Dunchurch is south, not far at all. But Coventry is also v close.

edited to stick in a link http://lmac.org.uk/old/swinford.htm

Let me know if its the Southam side of Rugby is any good to you as a friend has a 600m grass strip locally who I can give a call to.

I live in Southam. Where's that one then? Perhaps the Maule could come visit one day?

That strip is quite a bit further from the intended area than a landing at Coventry.

What aerial mount do you propose to bring?

Thanks for all your interest guys.
