Logging SLMG time

Just passed my difference training to add an SLMG rating to my NPPL SEP (or whatever the CAA call it now).
How exactly should SLMG time be put in the logbook?. There's no provision in my power logbook for SEP or SLMG time. If it's all logged together then surely it's distorts my SEP time,if I'm not under power can this time be still added even though it's really gliding time?

Can I put this time in both my power and glider logbooks?(which will distort my total flying experience time).

With both ratings now do I have to do six hours per year in both SEP and SLMG aircraft or can it be a combination of both?

It's all highly confusing ! Anyone know the correct procedures to follow?
