Want a buzz!?!

Wowwwwwww!!

Just returned from a trip to Kemble. But not landed yet.

3 of my flying mates and I were doing an introduction to formation flying.

Although I have a fairly varied curriculum vitae when it comes to flying and had read a lot about formation flying nothing could prepare me for the pure exhilaration which I experienced when going up today.

Courtesy of the professional people at Kemble we experienced what it was like to fly the Extra 300 and moreover we were taught the principles of formation flying.

If you have any doubts whether this is it for you, I can only advice to give it a go.

Be prepared for the silly grin to last some time, 'fraid mine will for a bit!

Warning ...

A friend of mine went to Ultimate High for a spin training / aerobatics lesson.
'Just for the experience', he said.
After a sortie with Andy Cubin, he's now addicted to the place.

That said, I'm definitely going to try it this summer - just for the experience, of course.

Paulo - good point!

Both have flat six engines putting out around 300hp - in fact, keep your eyes open for a very interesting article in Autocar shortly.....!

I'd have thought that the Extra would have more in common with the Mercedes CLR than a Porche... at least when it comes to roll-rate and rate of climb
