I know exactly where you're c oming from strafer. It really gets my goat when people start advertising hangarage, flying jackets, GPS's and even aircraft that they WANT to buy in the SALES section.
www.thehangar.co.uk is the worst for this. There is one particular guy who advertised that he wanted hangarage in the Bristol area 8 (yes, eight) times within 2 months!
When I saw a very basic advert for a "Narco Txpdr" in the Aircraft For Sale area recently I replied to the ad' asking what the TBO was and whether it had been hangared. I added that although I had not yet had the pleasure of flying such an a/c I would be very interested for him to fly it in to my strip for an inspection.
Needless to say, I didn't receive a reply!
