Sekonda watch magazine offer

Anyone tried that offer of a free magazine with a Sekonda watch?

Sorry BRL couldn't help myself :-)

I've heard that Pilot is not as good as it used to be. Apparently, there was a a change of editorship and a lot of the proper writers left in disgust. Their subs department is absolutely dire, and people often don't get the free gifts they were supposed to receive. Flyer isn't quite the comic it used to be, but it's not far off, and nobody can see the point of Today's Pilot. They must be losing money hand over fist.

But apparently, AOPA's mag in the UK is getting much better and the US AOPA's mag is worth the subscription on its own!

Flying is brilliant because it's written by actual writers who also know about Flying. We can't really get close to that kind of writing in the UK because there isn't a market big enough to support those kinds of production values.

I think that just about covers it :-)

Now about those cheap watches that the desperados at Pilot are repeatedly pushing in a sad attempt to promote their magazine

How much did they pay for the Magazine again? NO.... I don't believe it

Wow - two posts, and no one has mentioned the inverse correlation between the size of a pilots watch and the size of various body parts

(I have a small cheap watch. And I have big feet. So it must all be true.)

... and Pilot has had to change binding methods because of extra pagination, new balance between editorial and advertising unclear

Attempt at irony - 1 for effort!

My watch is ten inches long and seven inches circumference. I believe it is about standard.

formationfoto & co. - I fear the Ref will red-card you all for a deliberate foul - no attempt to go for the ball.
