Wing walking

Someone I know is interested in doing some wing walking - as a paying punter, rather than as pilot.

Anyone know where this could be done - south coast areas would be a bonus

Thanks in advance

No accounting for some people's taste!

Try Aerosuperbatics, Vic Norman's outfit at Rendcomb near Cirencester. Speak with Helen Tempest or any of the crew there.

I believe the utterly butterly guys also do it. We had them in for a day recently while some of the club did charity wing walks. Looked a bit mad to me!

The Butterly crew is in fact the Vic Norman Aerosuperbatics operation so both Bose-x and greeners are correct.

The Tiger Club based at Headcorn, Kent have a wing walking rig but I don't know if you have to be a member or what.

The Tiger Club do have an approved Stand on Wing or 'SOW' rig, (The great Lewis Benjamin of the Tiger Club invented the CAA approved rig back in the 1960s) but it is only used for genuine display flying and display flying practice within the criteria laid down in the CAA approval for the rig. i.e no punters allowed other than those female club lunatics 'approved' by the Chief Pilot for air display purposes. As somebody who has done a fair bit of SOW flying over the years, you most certainly wouldnt get me up there.
