Hampshire Strips
Hi
Would anyone know of the precise locations, of any of the following Hampshire Strips.
Alresford microlight strip about 1993 south of New Alresford.
Braishfield 1990's strip.
Broughton 1980's strip.
Bursledon near junction of Hamble Lane & Hound Lane, date unknown
Farlington poss owned by G G Fossbury with G-AJRK
Shedfield owned by I B Grace with G-EBZN DH Moth
Southwick 1980's
West End CC & MS Lovell with G-ATBL
West Meon, Hall Place Farm

Bursledon ? Well I actually live at that point and have never heard of it used as a strip, especially with the old Bae Hamble down the road (The southern part is now houses). Although before we bought our land (over 15 years ago) it was all one arable farm of about 30 acres each side of Hamble lane, just North of Hound Lane (to many trees to the south). So it may have been used then.
We currently have a 10 acres plot here, where I'm restoring G-AHAP (Plus parts at my factory in Hedge End), But it's unlikely to fly from here (The fruit crops that would have to go are worth more a year than my auster).
