Insch anyone?
A bit of a long shot - but I'm going to be near Insch for a few days over New Year and I wondered if there were any prooners there - of if anyone has experience of (hiring from) the club there?

The 'club' is a microlight club - so hiring is n't really an option (I know the rules have recently changed but......).
Given the forecast flying might be a bit tricky - but I'm sure that given the right apporach and the offer of enough Guiness/whisky you could certainly get a flight from one of the locals!

I was in the area in October and looked in on the airfield. It took two hours to find and was closed as it was a week day. It certainly is not just microlights as there were several Cessnas of various types parked outside. I believe it is just under 6oom. It did seem quite narrow with bushes either side as I recall, so high wing may be better than low wing. Garioch Flying Club seem to run it. Worth calling them.
