Hi DOC

I'll be there with the Essex boys. Not what we will be arriving in, as it will depend on the weather.

I'm going!

I'll be there, wandering around, armed with my camera and pointing it at all your aircraft

Not if the pictures were prints on site, if that's what you mean. I'll be putting mine on my website when I get the films back.

There's an entourage planning to fly in from Redhill - currently six planes. One shame is that you can't PPR more than 24 hours in advance )-:

Cheers,

MD.

Get with it Doc. Essex boys drive Subaru Impreze WRXs these days!

If the wx and family permit, I'll be there.

Doh! Irony is I edited my post to delete the incorrect apostrophe in WRXs - missed the spelling.

We'll be there - even if it will be a drive-in and fly out for us!

MD - don't worry too much about PPR - theres no slot time & plenty of parking.

Look forward to seeing you all there .

Having witnessed your propensity for demanding a lift to your aircraft at OW a fortnight ago from the refuelling truck that was busilly engaged in his day-job, ie refuelling my aircraft and had a list of other biplanes that wanted motion-lotion......

shouldn't your statement read:

We'll be there - even if it will be a drive-in, drive right up to a/c, park very close to it, fly out for us, return and taxi back to waiting car! Pah, none of that walking malarkey for us SX folk!!

Stik - who won't be venturing 35 mins south to EGSX on the 4th

Stiknthemud?

You've obviously overflown my strip!

We've had so much rain/snow in the past wek that the water table has risen significantly and I'm sure that if I were to take my toy out, mud would certainly be the operative word!

Actually on the 4th, I'll be in my workshop making final preparations for the arrival of my container from the States which contains such goodies as aeroplane fuselages, wing kits and a very trick wide deck, parallel valved IO360.

ETA is 0930 on Monday 5th!

I might change my handle to BobTheBuilder after that date!

Sounds like a good event.

Maybe we should arrange some sort of PPRuNe meeting point. I failed to spot any other prooners at Old Warden recently, apart from Mike Cross's btch that is.

At Duxford earlier in the year Aerbabe and FFF set up a PPRuNe base camp outside the canteen and distributed mobile numbers so that lost members could be talked down for a successful approach. Maybe we need something similar.

I will be there weather permitting. I was most upset that I did not meet any PPruners at the Old Warden fly in on the 17th, but I had no way of identifying anyone either!
